The BYD Dolphin is a compact hatchback in the C-segment, offering two versions with powerful front-wheel drive and a range exceeding 300 kilometers.

The BYD Dolphin is a C-segment hatchback available in two versions: Boost and Design (MY2023). Both variants feature front-wheel drive (FWD). The Boost version is equipped with a 44.9 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 310 km and an electric motor output of 177 horsepower. This allows for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds, with a top speed limited to 160 km/h. DC charging is available at a power of 60 kW.

The Design version (MY2023) features a larger battery with a capacity of 60.5 kWh, resulting in a WLTP range of 427 km. The electric motor output increases to 204 horsepower, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 7 seconds. The top speed remains at 160 km/h. DC charging is available at a power of 88 kW, allowing for faster battery replenishment. The trunk capacity in this version is 345 liters.
