The MG 4 Urban is a C-segment hatchback, with production starting in 2026. The vehicle is equipped with a trunk capacity of 470 l.

The model is offered with two performance sets. The Comfort Long Range version features a 52,8 kWh battery, which translates to a WLTP range of 416 km and a power of 160 hp. The Comfort Standard Range version uses a 41,9 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 325 km and a power of 149 hp.

Both variants use front-wheel drive (FWD) and reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The Long Range version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9,5 s, while the Standard Range version does so in 9,6 s. The DC charging speeds are 87 kW and 82 kW respectively, allowing for recharging from 10% to 80% in 30 min and 28 min.
