What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. They are used to remember settings and — with consent — to display ads.

Types of cookies

Essential: required for the site to work, e.g. remembering your cookie consent choice and your chosen interface language (NEXT_LOCALE cookie, valid for one year). No consent required.

Advertising (Google AdSense): shown only after you choose “Accept all”. Google uses its own cookies for ad personalisation and measurement.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4): set only after you choose “Accept all”. They measure site traffic — which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. Cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, valid for up to 2 years. They are not used to identify you.

Browser storage (localStorage): besides cookies we keep small settings and choices in your browser — for example the cars you picked for comparison or the models you viewed recently. This data stays on your device, never reaches us, and you can delete it together with the site data in your browser settings.

Managing consent

On your first visit we show a banner where you can choose “Essential only” or “Accept all”. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings — the banner will appear again.

Third-party cookies

Ads are served by Google. Google’s data processing is described in Google’s privacy policy and ad settings. Visit statistics are collected by Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), also only with your consent.

YouTube embeds

Before you click, the video slot holds only a still image of the film, served from our own server — your browser makes no connection to Google at that point. Only your click loads the YouTube player in “no-cookie” mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once playback starts, Google may set its own cookies according to the YouTube policy.
