The Volvo EC40 (C40 until 2024) is an electric C-segment crossover with drive on one or both axles and a WLTP range of up to 583 km.

The Volvo EC40 (sold as the C40 until 2024) is a C-segment crossover with a 404 l boot. The model is available in four versions that differ in drivetrain configuration, battery capacity and performance.

The Single Motor variants have rear-wheel drive (RWD). The first version uses a 70 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 486 km and 238 hp. The Single Motor Extended Range (MY2024) has an 82 kWh battery, 252 hp and a WLTP range of 583 km. Both versions reach a top speed of 180 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 s.

The Twin Motor versions use an 82 kWh battery and all-wheel drive (AWD). The Twin Motor variant produces 408 hp, with a WLTP range of 550 km and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 s. The Twin Motor Performance variant has 442 hp, a WLTP range of 549 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 s. All versions support DC charging at 200 kW, which recharges the battery from 10% to 80% in 26 to 28 minutes.
