The Volvo C40 is a crossover vehicle in the C segment, featuring a trunk with a capacity of 404 liters. The model is available in four versions, which differ in terms of drivetrain configuration, battery capacity, and performance.

The Single Motor variants feature rear-wheel drive (RWD). The first version uses a 70 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 486 km and a power output of 238 horsepower. The Single Motor Extended Range (MY2024) features an 82 kWh battery, a power output of 252 horsepower, and a WLTP range of 583 km. Both versions have a top speed of 180 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.

The Twin Motor variants use an 82 kWh battery and feature all-wheel drive (AWD). The Twin Motor variant produces 408 horsepower, offering a WLTP range of 550 km and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The Twin Motor Performance variant has a power output of 442 horsepower, a WLTP range of 549 km, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. All versions support DC fast charging at 200 kW, allowing for an energy replenishment from 10% to 80% in approximately 26 to 28 minutes.
