The Ford Explorer is an all-electric SUV in the D segment, produced since 2024. The model is offered in three variants, differing in battery capacity, power output, and drivetrain. The Extended Range variant is available with all-wheel drive (AWD) and rear-wheel drive (RWD). The Extended Range AWD version offers a power output of 340 horsepower and a WLTP range of 566 km. The Extended Range RWD version has a power output of 286 horsepower and a WLTP range of 602 km. The smallest variant, the Standard Range RWD, features a 52 kWh battery and offers a WLTP range of 378 km with a power output of 170 horsepower. DC fast charging is available on the Extended Range versions at a power of 185 kW (charging time from 10-80% in 26 minutes) or 135 kW (charging time from 10-80% in 28 minutes), and on the Standard Range version at a power of 145 kW (charging time from 10-80% in 26 minutes). The trunk capacity is 470 liters.
